1) What does the foundation do?
We work with local businesses, youth organizations, charitable organizations, and musicians to make the necessary contacts to further themselves and thier organizations.
2) What charities do you work with?
We work with local church and community groups and charities. Some of which include: St. Jude, American Cancer Society, Lung Association, American Heart, Alzheimer Fund, Humane Society, Habitat for Humanity, The Women's Center, Salvation Army, Adolescent Center, and the Presbyterian Day School.
3) Can you help our group?
Although our sponsored activities usually go to the above charities, we can provide venues for car washes, bake sales, and other fund raisers if your group meets the criteria and availability.
4) What are your criteria?
Some of the criteria are listed here, but each group is revued on an individual basis. Some preference or exceptions may be granted to foundation members. To be considered, your group must meet one or more of the following criteria:
- benefit more than one person or family
- have a medical condition
- have an educational need
- be a church activity
- NOT be a natural disaster (fire, flood, etc.)
- NOT be a rehabilitation project
5) Do you compensate the musicians?
Right now, we take up love offerings which are used for the charities and to compensate the musicians. As we expand, the love offerings and the comensation will grow.
6) What do I need to do to become part of the foundation?
Contact us! Our requirements are that you share our mission and participate (as you are able) in our sponsored activities.
7) How does the foundation benefit me?
The foundation helps you (or your business) to develop relationships in the community and offers an outlet for you to contribute to our community.
8) Does the foundation have any short-term needs?
We hope to purchase a sound system in the near future to use at the sponsored activites.
